Textured shading in the 3D View area

The 3D View area in Blender is a part of the interface that can be used to navigate and interact with the geometry of the scene. Several modes of shading the surfaces can be activated. Depending on which mode is active, either a coloured representation of the pressure distribution is presented, or a shaded one with relief.

The 3D View is the main area in which objects, domains and boundaries can be edited.
